Delphine Guellec was born in 1987 in Bretagne. She studied in the north of France for 4 years at l’ESAAT (École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et du Textile), where she obtained in 2009 her diploma in creation-conception textile, thanks to her project «Terrain d’échange.» Delphine Guellec then went on to explore a colourful and sparkling universe, the passage between her imaginary landscapes and those she occupies and inhabits.
She is fascinated by diminishment in general and all that has to do with making things more little. The memories of childhood and construction games attract her. She has worked according to laws defined by childhood : play, self-distraction, daydreaming, turning away from the serious and the necessary to invent and compose with wonder, curiosity and jubilation the unknown, chance and colour.
