Caressés par les reflets cristallins de Murano, les salons du Vendôme Luxury se transforment en un îlot aux charmes vénitiens.
Il y a les oeuvres de Chantal Thomass, liées à sa collaboration avec la célèbre Maison Véronèse. Son humour irradie les objets ludiques créés à partir de fragments en verre de Murano.
Un autre exemple de la renaissance artistique de Murano est également présenté : les bijoux de Marianne Schliwinski. Avec des morceaux de verre repêchés dans la lagune, l’artiste allemande édite une collection de bijoux qui joue l’histoire de l’île avec la technique contemporaine.

Plunged into a poetic and anecdotal setting, the salons of Vendôme Luxury at Hôtel Meurice will
be transformed into a little island full of Venetian charm in the middle of Paris.
The event will stage the creations by Chantal T homass, further to its collaboration with the famous Maison Véronèse. Her sense of humour will be embodied through fun objects created from fragments of Murano glass. A second example of the Renaissance of Murano is provided by the jewellery by German designer Marianne Schliwinski. Using glass fragments found in the waters of the lagoon, she created a collection of jewels linking the history of the isle to contemporary technique.
